Meet the Band

Willis Tucker - Guitar & Lead Vocals

Willis Tucker started playing guitar/singing and writing original songs at age 20. Living in Charlestown, IN, his taste in music is mostly country, but he enjoys classic/southern rock as well. He has performed at many local venues including bars, restaurants, private parties, festivals, benefits, including playing the National Anthem at a Louisville Bats game and acoustics shows in Nashville, TN.

Chris “Dino” Dean - Bass

From Charlestown IN, Chris started out learning Bluegrass from his Grandfather at 5 years old. During High School, Chris started playing music with Pat Crawford and friends in an old barn. Chris served eight years in the Armed Forces where he continued playing with a small tour of Bases in Korea with fellow Military brothers. Returning home in 1994, he joined “Hard Luck” with Pat.

In 2003, he recorded a CD with the band “Dull Boy Jack”. He has shared the stage with Regional act J.D. Shelburne & Kenny Warren w/ Whiskey Haze, and Local artists Blaise Streets and Hard Reign. Playing shows from Indy to Nashville and everywhere in between. “If my Grandfather hadn’t placed a guitar in my hands when I was 5, who knows what I would be doing today… I still have the original guitar that belonged to him and write my music on it…” – Chris “Dino” Dean.

Pat Crawford -Lead Guitar/ Vocals

From Charlestown IN, Pat and has been playing lead guitar since he was 12 years old. His styles are rock and country. Pat joined his first band “Blackout” during high school with friends, including Chris Dean. He has also played in “Hard Luck” and “Final Crew”. Pat has played all over Southern Indiana and various local hot spots in Nashville, TN.

At 30, the good Lord delivered him from the alcoholism that was consuming his life. Going on 20 years of sobriety and proudly open about his personal struggles, Pat is very thankful Willis Tucker gave him an opportunity to get back to doing what he loves. “Once music gets in your blood, you will always have the desire to play.” Pat is also currently involved with a Contemporary Christian group and is active in helping others face their own addictions through leading as an example.

Dale Collier - Drums

Dale Collier Jr. started playing music in 1986 at age 10. He learned everything he could about the snare drum. He began learning how to play and read music, moving up the ranks in concert band. Playing and recording original music, playing in cover bands, hanging out with friends and other fellow musicians, he was officially in the music scene! There were several bands throughout this journey. Betwixt & Between, radio edit, Self Inflicted, and the Blaise Streets band. He also sat in for many acts while playing in these bands at different periods of his musical career, he loved to continue his education and learn as much as he could about his instrument. He attended Aebersold jazz camp, at the U of L school of music campus, and took lessons locally. He also met and took instruction under Ben Sesar ( recording/ touring artist for Brad Paisley) in Nashville TN. After a long break, he received a text message in 2022 that asked, “You still playing drums?” he met up with the guys in the Willis Tucker Band and started his new journey playing drums again.

We like to make you dance, we like to make you sing. We play a mixed bag…a little of everything.

Between all four band members, we have hundreds of songs under our belts ranging from Waylon Jennings to Jason Aldean and Skynyrd to Mellencamp. We’re all about the songs we grew up listening to as well as the current songs of today. We also write and record our own stuff.

We’re just a bunch of down-home guys who work hard, play harder, and live by the rewards that a cheering and dancing crowd on the weekend brings.
